Fenn Signis is a soldier who was born al Alderaan and joined the Rebellion at the tender age of 17. He became the very example of a good soldier and after completing two tours of duty with the Alliance he was stationed at the Rebel base on Arda 1.
This is when Grand Moff Tarkin decided that Dantooine was far too remote to make an effective demonstration and blew up his home planet.
After the Battle of Yavin, when the rebels abandoned their base on Arda 1 Fenn joined the alliance’s special forces and vowed to avenge his homeworld and bring down the empire.
Being special forces must mean that your gun doesn’t need to be very good because whilst Fenn does start the game with a gun, it rolls green and blue dice which means it does less damage than an old nerf gun so it would be wise to upgrade this as soon as possible.
Early on you can grab the E-11 that uses the same green and blue dice but has better surge abilities and when you tie this with Weapons expert and Trench fighter you have in your hands a very capable offensive character.
Fenn is a great character but if you have more than the core box, then there are better options for your offensive units and I think this is why Fenn Signis sees a good deal less table time than many other characters.
